You do NOT have to stay on property to enjoy the event - you can purchase an evening resort pass and stay off-site.

Take these into consideration when reserving your room.
You may add days before and/or after your stay - since April is a busy time for tourists we suggest you reserve 'shoulder' dates now. The hotel might fill up on dates outside of our Thur-Sat reserved block.
All reservations require a valid credit card. Your credit card will get charged two (2) night non-refundable deposit within 72 hours of making a reservation.
Reservation is non-refundable upon booking and cannot be cancelled or modified without penalty. All rooms are transferrable.
A non-refundable deposit for two nights' room and tax is required at the time of booking. Please note that a three-night minimum stay is required for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights.
There is no resort fee. Guest will have daily access to the fitness center and VH Spa relaxation room.
Arizona Tiki Oasis discounted rate includes:
one-time $10 round-trip bellman porterage fee
$4 nightly housekeeping gratuity
These fees will be applied to the final billing.

Hotel Valley Ho is pet-friendly! Bring your four-legged friend along for your trip at no extra charge. You’ll receive a welcome pet amenity including dog treats, a double-sided bowl for water and food, pet clean-up bags, and a ‘Pet in Room’ sign. A limited supply of elevated dog beds are also available on loan, allowing your pup to sleep next to your bed. Bring them along for a walk around our lush grounds, around Old Town Scottsdale, or along the nearby Arizona Canal Trail.

history of hotel valley ho

Originally opened on December 20, 1956, Hotel Valley Ho has classically cool roots and stands as a modernist icon in Downtown Scottsdale. Owned by John B. Mills, along with Robert Foehl and his wife Evelyn, it was built on the belief that “the important thing is to make your guest feel wanted.” The architect, Edward Varney, was known for his cool, minimalist style.

Hotel Valley Ho was a true Hollywood hideaway in its heyday, host to Bing Crosby, Tony Curtis, Janet Leigh and Zsa Zsa Gabor, among others. Celebrities loved that the paparazzi would not follow them to Scottsdale. Ramada acquired the hotel in 1973 and renamed it “Ramada’s Valley Ho Resort.” Over the years, some of the classic design elements were altered and the hotel lost its luster. In 2002, the property went up for sale. Local company Westroc Hospitality worked to restore the hotel to its mid-century splendor.

Reopened on December 20, 2005, Hotel Valley Ho shines brighter than ever with notable additions including ZuZu, VH Spa, and the OH Pool. Named “one of the best-preserved mid-century hotels in the country” by author and architect Alan Hess, Hotel Valley Ho is the place where your cool comes out to play.
